Summary of "Seasons 1 & 2 - Awesome Show!": This show is a lot funnier than the Philadelphia weatherman show in my head, that's for sure. The characters are amazingly self-absorbed individuals, and their selfishness goes beyond anything you've ever seen on TV. The guys are out for two things; sex, and money, and sometimes both things are wrapped into one. Watch as Dennis teases gay patrons so he can make more money in tips, or as Mac joins a "Right to Life" group so he can sleep with a girl, while Dennis tries to choose a side of the debate based on which side has better chicks. Yup, that's what you're getting yourself into with this show, and it's brilliant. I've told more people about this show in the last week than most shows I watch, and I highly recommend it.
The DVD set is very good as well. The commentaries are good, deleted scenes from the original pilot were great, though I would have preferred to see the entire piece on the DVD, and the "making of" featurette was superb, but that didn't surprise me when I saw David Naylor's name in the credits; he's one of the top, if not THE top, TV-DVD producer out there.
Trust me, this is a show worth checking out on DVD, but remember; it's not a show about a weatherman in Philadelphia. (read entire review)
