We've told you they were coming, and I've mentioned it in previous reviews, but this set comes with a flyer which says, "Coming Fall 2005 Fraggle Rock Season 1 Box Set." I can't wait to see what HIT has cooked up for the release, since these volumes have been fairly good. I don't know about you, but I hope they include the bonus features from these volumes, as well as commentary from the voice actors, puppeteers, and anyone else they can get. It should be a great set! Summary of "Vol 2: Dance Your Cares Away - Go Fraggles!": It's a shame these were done out of order, but they're still entertaining episodes. Season sets are still planned for the fall, so these releases should tie us over until then.
I liked the featurette on "Doc & Sprocket." I knew that the UK episodes featured a lighthouse keeper, but I didn't realize that there were different versions of "Doc" for so many countries. I foolishly assumed that they would have the US "Doc" dubbed to other languages. (read entire review)

Summary of "Vol 1: Where it All Began Special Edition - Down in Fraggle Rock": I'm quite impressed with this release. Sure, it's not the season sets that older fans want, but HIT did a nice job putting together a DVD that would appear to children and parents. They've already told us they have plans to release the first season in the fall, so collectors can pass these releases over knowing that they'll be taken care of later. It's because of the planned season sets, aimed at adults, that will prevent me from complaining about the lack of closing credits on the episodes; HIT is targeting the kids with this release.
I loved revisiting my childhood, and I'm looking forward to the season set when it's released. For now I'll sing and dance with the Fraggles on these single disc releases. (read entire review)
