The rumors are true, it seems! It was over a month ago that we
revealed the info that
Walker, Texas Ranger - The Final Season was headed for DVD in Mid-Summer, with a pencilled-in date of
June 14th. Now
DVDPlanet's pre-order listing confirms that info.
The e-tailer is showing a $49.95 list price, but currently discounts it to just $34.97 (30% off). They list it as a 3-DVD set, but we were previously told that all 23 episodes (including the double-length series closer, "The Final Show/Down") would arrive on 6 DVDs instead. Perhaps CBS/Paramount has chosen to go with double-sided discs? We're not sure about that, but stay tuned and we'll have more for you about this release just as soon as we can.
