A few weeks ago saw the finale of the HBO show's rookie season, lasting 8 episodes and starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus (
Seinfeld, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Saturday Night Live).Now Amazon has begun taking pre-orders for
Veep - The Complete 1st Season on both
DVD and high-def
Blu-ray Disc versions. These listings are in advance of the official HBO Home Video announcement for these items, though, so instead of a street date Amazon only says "
This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, currently showing $39.98 SRP for the standard DVD and $49.99 SRP for the Blu-ray (you can, of course, lock in your copy right away at a discounted price, if you order it using either of the above links). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entries, nor is there cover art yet.
