It's been six months since the release of
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Season 1, the first DVD release of the original heroes in a half-shell. Since then, fans have been left wondering when we would see more episodes from the classic 1987 cartoon series.
Well, we've been so busy here at TVShowsOnDVD that we never had time to call Lion's Gate and ask, but the guys over at DVDToons.com decided to do exactly that! And yesterday webmaster Anthony Lizarraga
posted the answer they received:
In the past few weeks we've noticed an increase amount of inquiries, in both emails and our message board, for more Original Ninja Turtles on DVD.
Let's face it, its about to be seven months since the first DVD was released and I know we are all dying for more.
Well, we went ahead and asked Lion's Gate about it and this is what we got:
"As for TMNT, expect to see another DVD Spring 2005."
Besides that, we don't know what type of release it will be. Hopefully we will have more information we approach the new year.

Stay tuned and we'll have updates for our readers as we get closer to the release date...whatever that turns out to be. We sure hope this turns out to be another season set release!!!
