Several weeks ago we
passed along word from our friends at ToonZone, that the DC Animation group's panel at the San Diego Comic Con had said this:
Some news was revealed regarding the November 25th Blu-ray two-disc release of Superman: Doomsday. Extra features will include four bonus episodes of Superman the Animated Series hand-picked by Bruce Timm and 128 minutes worth of extra content.
Today Warner Home Video formally announced
Superman - Doomsday: 2-Disc Special Edition. But, contrary to the info from the Comic Con report, it wasn't a Blu-ray Disc release. This morning's info only listed a 2-DVD version that will indeed arrive on
November 25th, and with new extras which were not detailed in the early information. Cost is given as $24.98 SRP, and the package art below was provided. No other detailed are available yet, but stay tuned and we'll update you when possible.
