A few days ago MGM and distributor Fox Home Entertainment distributed the press release for the March 11th release of Stargate SG-1 - The Ark of Truth, the direct-to-video feature which wraps up the "Ori" storyline that was left hanging when the series concluded after 10 seasons.
Since then the studio has re-issued the same press release, updated to show additional extras that weren't included on the original version. Rather than re-posting the corrected version, we're simply going to list the new complete list of special features:
- Commentary with Writer, Director and Producer Robert C. Cooper, Actor Christopher Judge and Director of Photography Peter Woeste
- Featurette: "Stargate SG-1: The Road Taken: Prelude to The Ark of Truth"
- Featurette: "The Ark of Truth: Stargate at Comic-Con"
- Featurette: "Uncovering The Ark of Truth"
In addition to these extras, there will also be various "sneak preview" trailers advertising other DVD releases from Fox Home Entertainment. One of these trailers is expected to be for the DVD release of
Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, which opens in theaters the day after tomorrow (Christmas Day).
Final full-sized box art STILL isn't ready yet, but we hope you're enjoying our exclusive sneak peak above of the thumbnail. This may just be temporary art (we got it from a retailer), but then again it might be what you see on store shelves.
