Paramount has already announced the
Borg Fan Collective for March (
7th), and now they've announced a followup release:
Star Trek - The Time Travel Fan Collective.
If this news sounds vaguely familiar, then you probably read our
news item from April discussing the possibility of the "Fan Collective" releases, per a survey conducted at StarTrek.com. The
Time Travel release was mentioned in the poll, and was described as "episodes involving Time Travel, to the past and future." We know that this will be a 4-disc set that will list for $39.95, and
DVDPlanet is preselling it for $27.97. If the
Borg release is any indication, then we can expect 10 episodes hand-picked by the fans from the
Star Trek universe of shows, courtesy of the StarTrek.com poll. The set will be released on
April 4.
