CBS/Paramount has today announced Blu-ray Disc releases for both Star Trek: The Next Generation - Season 5 ($129.99 SRP) and Star Trek: The Next Generation - Unification ($24.99 SRP), with both high-def titles slated to be in stores on November 19th. Each item can be pre-purchased from right now.

The fifth season has many fan-favorite appearances, including two by Wil Wheaton as "Wesley Crusher" (including his virtuoso performance in "The First Duty"), two by Ashley Judd as "Ensign Robin Lefler," Paul Winfield in the excellent episode "Darmok," the debut of Michelle Forbes in the role of "Ensign Ro Laren," Matt Frewer as "Rasmussen," Mark Lenard in his final appearance as "Sarek," Leonard Nimoy as "Spock," Malachi Throne as the Romulan "Senator Pardek," Denise Crosby as "Commander Sela," Brian Bonsall's first turn as "Alexander Rozhenko," a pre-C.S.I. Liz Vassey in the episode "Conundrum," Kelsey Grammer in "Cause and Effect," Ray Walston as "Boothby," a pre-Voyager Robert Duncan McNeil as "Cadet First Class Nicholas Locarn," Majel Barrett and Carel Struycken returning as "Lwaxana Troi" and "Mr. Homn," a pre-DS9 Max Grodénchik along with Famke Janssen and Tim O'Connor in "The Perfect Mate," Jonathan Del Arco as "Hugh" in "I, Borg," Susanna Thompson in one of her several roles throughout the Trek-iverse, wonderful character actor Richard Riehle as "Batai" in the INCREDIBLE episode "The Inner Light," and both Marc Alaimo (DS9's "Gul Dukat") and Jerry Hardin (as "Samuel Clemens) in "Time's Arrow, Part 1."

Package art can be seen below, but first here's a short list of bonus materials for the season set, and a studio-provided description for the single-disc release:

Star Trek: The Next Generation - Unification
The epic two-part story seamlessly unified into one feature length presentation! Leonard Nimoy reprises his iconic role as Spock and joins the crew of the Enterprise in this fan-favorite double episode! When the Federation calls for help in locating an ambassador suspected of defecting, Picard is troubled to learn that Spock is the one who has vanished. Seeking information from Spock's ailing father, Sarek, and unlikely help from the Klingons, Picard and his crew find the ambassador pursuing a personal mission on Romulus: a Vulcan/Romulan reunification. But though the Romulans claim to support the same goal, their motives are not what they seem.
