Last week we posted the
press release about the 2008 TV-DVD Awards, to be held as part of a Gala Dinner at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California this October. Among the information provided in the press release was this:
A panel of judges will select nominees from among all submissions. Winners will be determined by an online consumer vote held Sept. 15-26 at TVShowsOnDVD.com and HomeMediaMagazine.com.
Now the folks who are putting the awards program together have informed us of an important change to that information. Instead of holding the consumer voting at the dates listed in the press release, they have rescheduled that voting to instead be held between
September 22 - October 3.
We've also learned that the finalized date of the actual 2008 TV-DVD Awards dinner event is now set for
October 14th, at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. It sounds like it will be a great evening!
