Shout! Factory is
running a poll at their website, which basically asks "
Which show do you want to see another season released of?" It's a fairly straightforward thing, and it takes basic precautions to try to give just one vote per household. There's no indication of how long the survey will last, or what exactly they'll do with the info. For example, they're not claiming that they will be "bound by the results" or anything like that...it's probably just for some basic input to factor into future decisions. The choices you'l find there are for these programs:
- Adam-12
- Blossom
- Father Knows Best
- Ironside
- Mr. Belvedere
- My Two Dads
- Paper Chase
- Peyton Place
- Rhoda
- Room 222
- Spin City
At the moment
Mr. Belvedere is in the lead, but only 158 votes have been cast since Shout! Factory
tweeted about it late afternoon/early evening yesterday. Some items on the list haven't seen a release in a while (like
Ironside, whose most recent season set came out in Oct. 2007), and at least one item on that list already have a commitment for more releases (specifically
Adam-12 - Season 3 in August).
So think of it more as a fun way to share your opinion, than anything else. But head on over and participate, okay?
