A few weeks ago we
reported that Shout! Factory had, ahem, nicked the rights to various classic Nickelodeon-produced animated shows, and would be putting out at retail (using the traditional manufacturing process) some series which had previously been released only through Amazon's manufacture-on-demand (MOD) program called CreateSpace. The first of these is the May 17th release of
The Wild Thornberrys - Season 1, and today we've found out that they will follow up with a
June 21st street date for
Rocko's Modern Life - Season 1!
Amazon's CreateSpace team's 2008 and 2009 MOD-DVD releases of the show were titled as "
Best-Of" volume sets, and not all episodes were could be found among those 3 titles. At this time we don't know for certain that Shout! Factory's general retail release is improving on that, but looking at the history of Shout!'s TV-DVD sets, and the fact that this new item is simply titled "
Season 1," it's much more likely that this will be a complete collection of all episodes from the show's first production year (no guarantees, though, as of this writing). Cost is just $19.93 SRP, and you can
