Robin Hood - New BBC Show To Get DVD Launch As US Broadcast Run Finishes |

This past year, the BBC launched a new Robin Hood series, done in a more modern style, in the U.K. The cast includes Jonas Armstrong (Teachers, The Ghost Squad) as Robin and Lucy Griffiths as Marian. The show debuts in the U.S.A. on the BBC America cable channel on March 3rd, and expects to finish the first season run in the last week of May. BBC Video and Warner Home Video have announced this morning that Robin Hood - Season 1 will come out on DVD June 5th, timed to match the premiere broadcast of the final episode of the season. Here's the studio description of the show:
