Prison Break is gearing up to air its last run of episodes, starting back in primetime on April 17th (two and a half weeks from now), and airing on consecutive weeks through to it's big series finale event at the end of May. But we've found out that it won't be a long wait to get those episodes on home video!
Fox Home Entertainment has informed retailers that they are preparing a home video release for
Prison Break - Season 4: The Final Season on DVD, coming out on
June 2nd. Our sources tell us that a Blu-ray release for the same season has been rumored, but isn't set in stone just yet...right now Fox is only for-sure committing to the DVD version.
The 6-disc set will cost $49.98 SRP for 1071 minutes, and is presented in widescreen video with English 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound. Bonus material includes Audio Commentary tracks by Cast and Crew, and possibly other extras yet to be detailed. Here's a look at the package art:
