A week ago we
had the scoop on package art for Fox Home Entertainment's upcoming DVD release of
Persons Unknown - The Complete 1st Season. When we originally reported on this item, we passed along a release date of August 17th. In our follow-up last week, we mentioned that this was still the official date, but that Amazon.com was instead showing August 31st. We pointed out that the current run of episodes is scheduled to air through the first weekend of September, which could be a reason for Fox to move the street date on this title. Today we've been informed by industry sources that the schedule has indeed moved, this time to
September 7th. Amazon.com is also now showing that date (see button link below), as are other sites such as VideoETA (a site produced by Ingram Entertainment, who is a wholesale distributor of home video releases). While Fox hasn't officially announced the title yet, we're confident enough to pass this new date along to our readers...make your plans accordingly!
