    In 1842, widower Evan Thorpe (Rod Taylor) and his three children leave their Illinois farm and join a wagon train heading west into the Oregon Territories, to make a new life for themselves. Along the way they must deal with Indian marauders, storms, con men and more!

    The show also starred Andrew Stevens, Tony Becker, and Gina Marie Smika as Thorpe's children, joined by an impressive guest cast including Wilford Brimley, Kim Hunter, Claude Akins, William Smith and others. Includes 14 original episodes (including the feature-length pilot and 6 unaired episodes). Full Color Episodes from the NBC Vaults, Fully restored and Digitally Remastered!
Timeless Media Group (TMG) has formally announced the April 13th release of the NBC show from the '70s, The Oregon Trail - The Complete Series starring Rod Taylor. These hour-long episodes will come on 6 DVDs, running 750 minutes. Video is in full frame, with audio in English mono.
