Good morning! Universal has made it a good morning indeed, with their announcement of Monk - Season 5 for DVD! This 4-disc (single sided) set will arrive on June 26th, with all 16 episodes from the season that ended just a couple of weeks ago. Presentation is anamorphic widescreen (1.78:1), with English Dolby Digital 2.0 sound and English subtitles. Cost is $59.98 SRP for 730 minutes.
Surely you know about a new USA Network series called Psych? If not, then you'll want to know that this show is positioned as being very comparable to Monk, in that it's a blend of detective work and humor. In an effort to bring in all the Monk fans, Universal is also planning to release a Monk / Psych Detective Pack on the same day. This will consist of Monk - Season 5 bundled along with Psych - The Complete 1st Season, for just twenty dollars more: SRP is $79.98 for the two-pack.
