We All Scream For Ice Cream. But our main focus today is the long-awaited
Masters of Horror - Season 1 Box Set.
Starz Entertainment (the new name for Anchor Bay) originally released all thirteen episodes from the first season as individual episode DVDs, but they are now collecting them into a single box set, with new extras, and it's coming out
on August 28th on DVD. Yesterday we mentioned that the box itself for this would "reportedly be a huge crypt-shaped package". One of our readers, Jeff (thanks!) sent us the below concept art for that packaging, which he tells us came through a couple of friends but was originally sourced at
HorrorYearBook.com. It certainly is awesome-looking, and we have to wonder if this will be used only for the DVD version, or if it will also come into use for the just-announced Blu-ray Disc version of the Season 1 set. Take a look:
