Lucifer - Plans Are In-the-Works for 'The Complete 2nd Season'

No availability date yet, but Amazon is taking advance orders for the DVDs

Posted by David Lambert
In Season Two, Lucifer and his brother angel, Amenadiel - who've been sparring over Lucifer's resistance to returning to the underworld - will now be brought back together for one common goal: to find their mother, who's escaped Hell. After all, Lucifer doesn't take after his dad, so the parent he does resemble is sure to be quite terrifying.
Tom Ellis (Rush, Miranda) returns as "Lucifer Morningstar," the devil, who now lives in L.A. and runs a nightclub, "Lux." Lesley-Ann Brandt (Spartacus, Single Ladies) is the demoness "Mazikeen" (or "Maze" for short), Lucifer's devoted follower who was his head torturer in Hell, and who now helps run Lux when Lucifer isn't there. He's often out of the bar, being a civilian consultant for the L.A. Police Dept., partnering up with Lauren German (Chicago Fire, Hawaii Five-0) as "Homicide Detective Chloe Decker." In the second season, Lucifer and his brother angel Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside of 24 and Suits) must team up and deal with their escaped-from-Hell mother, played by Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica, Burn Notice). has begun accepting pre-orders for Lucifer - The Complete 2nd Season on DVD! This listing is prior to the official Warner Home Video announcement for the item, so instead of a street date Amazon merely says "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, at $44.98 SRP. There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entry, nor package art (just temp art taken from the show's general promotional campaign). No word on a Blu-ray Disc version from the Warner Archive yet, either, but it's probably too soon to hear about that just yet. Stay tuned, of course, and we'll update you further on this title, just as soon as we find out more!
