A bit over a month ago we exclusively reported that The Love Boat - Season 1, Volume 2 would come to DVD on August 26th. We're very happy, in a way, to tell you this morning that we were wrong! The info we had at the time was from an early heads-up to retailers, but the date apparently wasn't finalized yet.
This morning Paramount Home Entertainment announced the finalized release date for this 3-disc set. It turns out that it will be in stores 2 weeks earlier than we originally told you, on August 12th. There will be 12 episodes (one of them double-length) running 10 hours and 44 minutes. The episodes are presented in Full Screen video, as originally aired, with English - Mono sound, Spanish - Mono as well, and subtitles in English and Spanish, too. Cost is expected to be under $40 list price. Stay tuned for package art for this set!
