As many of you tune in right now to the
Lost episode tonight, the "Reckoning" special which is catching us up on the events of the second season so far (there's still about a month of new episodes left before the finale), we're all wondering just when we're going to see the 2nd Season hit DVD. Our friends in the retail industry, speaking anonymously, have given us the heads-up that
Lost - The Complete 2nd Season is penciled in on Buena Vista Home Entertainment's schedule for
September 5th.
That's subject to change, of course, but what won't change is that you'll get around two dozen episodes (give or take) that shows you the fate of the passengers in the tail section, shows you more about "the Others", shows you more flashbacks about the lives of the castaways prior to the crash, and shows you lots and lots of "what's down that hatch?" You'll find out lots more about the island, and learn that every answer simply brings a new question. There, we hope that teases you just enough, without giving away any spoilers to those of you who are desperately avoiding the broadcasts and waiting for these DVDs! Stay tuned, and we'll have all the details - plus box art - once the studio makes their formal announcement!
