At the beginning of this month Universal released
the sixth season set on DVD, and they've wasted no time in announcing the next! Universal Studios Home Entertainment wants fans to know that
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - The 7th Year will come to DVD on
July 29th!
The show's ninth season is currently broadcasting (there are just a couple of episodes left for this year after tonight's 200th episode with Robin Williams), so the DVD releases are getting closer and closer to being caught up. The 5-disc set of
The 7th Year will have 22 episodes, running 937 minutes. Video is in Anamorphic Widescreen, and audio is English - Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround. There are English and Spanish subtitles as well. Cost is $59.98 SRP.
Guest stars include Robert Patrick, Lynda Carter, Ronny Cox, CCH Pounder, Dean Cain, Teri Garr, Veronica Cartwright, Annie Potts, Amy Pietz, Malcolm David Kelley, Rebecca De Mornay, Susan Saint James, Joey Slotnick, Lou Diamond Phillips, Anthony Anderson (who recently joined the original
Law & Order series), Kate Mulgrew and Natalie Cole.
