In 2006, A&E Home Video first released Homicide: Life on the Street - The Complete Series
DVD set in a limited-edition "file cabinet"-style package, after the individual season sets had already been put on the market in the preceding years. In 2009, A&E re-released The Complete Series
in standard packaging for the same 35 DVDs, and that remained available for a while. Since then it's gone off the market, however.
Today Shout! Factory announced that on the 4th of July
they will bring Homicide: Life on the Street - The Complete Series
back to DVD, in a new 35-disc set priced at $149.99 SRP (same as the second A&E set). The studio says that "Extras to be announced at a later date.
