A week ago today we
showed off the packaging for
Hawaii Five-O - The 7th Season, which is coming to DVD on
October 20th. Almost immediately we got e-mails from a few of our readers, noting that the box art contained a picture of "Ben Kokua" (Al Harrington)...who had phased out of the cast for the seventh year of the show.
We're not experts here on the cast of this particular series, but we recognized that this was quite similar to the concerns fans had for
The 5th Season cover. With that in mind, we informed CBS DVD of the situation, and now CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment have withdrawn the original version of the package art from circulation, and replaced it with the new version shown below. It appears to replace Harrington's character on the design with that of "Edward 'Duke' Lukela," played by Herman Wedemeyer. Our thanks to the readers who took the time to write in, and to the studio for looking into the matter.
