The new remake of
Hawaii Five-O has apparently gotten off to a great start a week ago, reminding people that the original series starring Jack Lord hasn't entirely made it out on DVD yet: 9 of the classic show's 12 seasons have been released, leaving three more to go! This past weekend, one fan named Andy Toth
posted a question on the Facebook fan page of CBS Home Entertainment, asking when
Hawaii Five-O - The 10th Season will be available on DVD. CBS answered him by saying this:
Andy Hawaii Five-O S10 is coming out in March. Thanks for your posting
That's good to know, and we'll pencil it in on our calendars here. Of course, that's early info and not finalized yet (hence the lack of a specific date), so it could be subject to change. We'll keep an eye out for further developments on this title, though. AND for the eventual news about a release for the new show, naturally. Stay tuned!
UPDATE (9/28): Overnight we see that the CBS Home Entertainment fan page on Facebook has provided
another tidbit about future releases of
Hawaii Five-O! This time they spoke to Bergman Mac, who was told "
All seasons of the classic Hawaii Five-O will be released on DVD with the last season releasing somewhere around mid 2011." Fascinating!
Bergman also asked about two other CBS/Paramount shows,
Love Boat and
Diagnosis Murder, and was told to "
Stayed tuned for news on your other shows." Sounds like something's coming for these as well. We'll post specific info about them, once it's available!
