These aren't films in the normal sense of the word, though, or even telefilms. Each installment is an hour-long episode of a show that was produced to be 6 parts long...a mini-series, in effect, except it's an anthology: every episode tells a different story with a different set of characters but always the same handgun!). It was made for TV and aired in 1997 on the ABC network.
