Two months ago saw the finale air for the HBO show's sophomore season, running 10 episodes long and causing as much acclaim - from both critics and home viewers - as the fabulous first season did. Now Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for
Game of Thrones - The Complete 2nd Season on both
DVD and high-def
Blu-ray Disc. These listings are in advance of the official HBO Home Video announcement for these items, though, so instead of a street date Amazon only says "
This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, currently showing $59.99 SRP for the standard DVD and $79.98 SRP for the Blu-ray (you can, of course, lock in your copy right away at a discounted price, if you order it using either of the above links). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entries, nor is there cover art yet.
