Fraggle Rock - HIT Entertainment Links with Lionsgate for DVD Distribution of Fraggles, Thomas & Other Properties

In a press release that went out yesterday, HIT Entertainment has announced that they are moving their DVD distribution deal over to Lionsgate, beginning in May. Currently most HIT titles are released via Fox Home Entertainment.
Fox has already announced several HIT titles to release in May: a May 6th release of Barney - Hi! I'm Riff, and May 13th releases of Bob The Builder - The Three Musketrucks and HIT Favorites: Summertime Fun. Despite this, the press release stipulates that Lionsgate will begin distribution of existing titles in May, and then begin circulating new titles in September.
The first new HIT title scheduled for September release is Thomas the Tank Engine - The Great Discovery. It is a feature-length direct-to-DVD release with Pierce Brosnan (007 films, Remington Steele) narrating. A small look at the cover art is at the bottom of this report.
Thomas the Tank Engine releases have, up until now, been distributed by Anchor Bay Entertainment (known for a while as Starz, before reverting back to the more well-known name). Anchor's next release, Thomas the Tank Engine - Mud, Glorious Mud, is scheduled for May 6th (box art for it is also shown at the bottom). While the press release doesn't stipulate it, we assume that this will wrap things up for Anchor Bay as well as for Fox.
Besides Thomas, other HIT properties mentioned in the press release as being connected with this deal includes The Jim Henson Company's Fraggle Rock (which we know is of HUGE importance to our readers), Wallace & Gromit, Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina, Barney (yes, the purple dinosaur) and others. Some properties, such as Wishbone, were not specifically mentioned but are inferred to be included in the deal.
One significant aspect of this to Fraggle Rock fans, in particular, is that the 4th and final season has been reported as coming in the Fall 2008 timeframe. This would evidently be distributed through Lionsgate now, rather than Fox as previous season sets have been.
