Phase 4 is releasing
Flashpoint - Season 1 in Canada on both standard
DVD and high-def
Blu-ray Disc. Both listings at Amazon.ca have been updated, though, to say "
Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." Naturally our Canadian readers are a bit panicked to see this, so we got in touch with Phase 4 to ask what the situation is.
Apparently Amazon.ca got confused, because neither listing should say that. Phase 4 says that the DVD format version is available today, on schedule, and you should be able to find it in stores, and that there should be stock for Amazon as well. The Blu-ray Disc version was pushed back just a bit, though, to
October 27th, due to a last-minute delay (details of which were not provided). Phase 4 is working with Amazon.ca to get both of those listings corrected as soon as possible, so keep an eye out for that.
