When an experimental space voyage goes awry, four people are changed by cosmic rays. Scientist Reed Richards gains the ability to stretch his body into various contortions, and takes the name Mr. Fantastic. His wife, Sue Richards, receives the power to turn invisible and create force fields, calling herself the Invisible Woman. Her younger brother, Johnny Storm, gains the ability to control fire, becoming the Human Torch. And pilot Ben Grimm is turned into a super-strong rock creature calling himself The Thing. Together they become the Fantastic Four and use their unique powers to help the world battle multiple threats, and to foil the evil plans of their equally powerful enemy, Doctor Doom.


• "Trial By Fire" - Johnny is put on trial - for crimes against the Kree Empire - by Ronan the Accuser after destroying the latest in a line of Kree Sentries, alien robots that have been observing the Fantastic Four. When Johnny chooses Reed as his lawyer, Ben and Susan take the stand in Johnny’s defense. But defending Johnny’s reckless behavior is tougher than they thought, especially when the accused is presumed guilty before the trial even starts!
• "My Neighbor Was A Skrull" - The Fantastic Four return home from an extra-dimensional adventure to find the Baxter Building and everyone in it just a little bit off. Their usually angry neighbors are suddenly all too happy to chat. They come bearing strange gifts, and oddly enough, seem extremely interested in the Fantastic Four’s powers. Soon it becomes obvious that the Baxter Building has been invaded by shape-shifting aliens - the Skrulls! But as the Fantastic Four discover, whenever you deal with Skrulls, there’s always more going on than meets the eye!
• "Impossible" - Reed summons one of his deep-space probes back to the Baxter Building for repairs, only to find that someone has hitched a ride on it back to Earth: the Impossible Man! The small, impish alien seems harmless enough, but the Fantastic Four soon realize that this creature, who can turn into anything, has turned into a big problem for them! Now they have to figure out how to get the Impossible Man off the planet before he goes from annoying to dangerous!
• "Revenge Of The Skrulls" - Susan forces the rest of the team to take part in “Fantastic Fifth for a Day,” an attempt to drum up a little good PR for the team. But the contest is interrupted by the return of the Skrulls. The Fantastic Four aren’t exactly worried by the awkward shape-shifting aliens…that is, until they reveal the Super Skrull! Possessing all of the Fantastic Four’s powers, the team realizes they’re in trouble, especially when they learn the Super Skrull has teamed up with Ronan the Accuser! The team’s only hope might lie in the hands of the “Fantastic Fifth”…a nerdy teenager named Rupert.
