Arriving On September 18 From Fox Home Entertainment

CENTURY CITY, Calif. – Giggity, Giggity, Goo! The Griffin clan makes their triumphant homecoming when "Family Guy" Volume 5 DVD Collection arrives September 18 from Fox Home Entertainment. A pop culture phenomenon with a widespread fan base stretching across the country, "Family Guy" Volume Five features some of the most offensively uproarious antics from the show's past season. The outrageous and memorable moments include Stewie and Brian joining the army and heading to Iraq, Lois becoming the high school "sex ed" teacher and Peter's turn as the local neighborhood bully. The season also features an all-star line-up of guests including Drew Barrymore (Lucky You, Fever Pitch), Carrie Fisher (Star Wars Trilogy, When Harry Met Sally …), David Cross ("Arrested Development," "Mr. Show"), Phyllis Diller (A Bug's Life) and the incomparable Adam West ("Batman"). "Family Guy" Volume Five features 13 episodes from the first half of the hysterical fifth season in a collectible three-disc set loaded with never-before-seen extras, including commentary on every episode, 38 deleted scenes, two featurettes: "Drawing Peter" and "Toys, Toys Galore," three animatic episodes with optional commentary and more. The "Family Guy" Volume Five DVD Collection is available for the suggested retail price of $39.98 US/$54.98 Canada. Prebook is August 22, 2007.

Marketing Support:
Fox will support the "Family Guy" Volume Five DVD Collection release with a significant multimedia campaign focused against fans and the core audience of college-aged consumers and male demographic. Support vehicles include network promos in all-new episodes airing on FBC as well as cable TV, print, radio and grassroots efforts.

"Family Guy" Synopsis
Critics agree...of all the animated shows featuring a talking dog and a maniacal baby, Family Guy is certainly one of them! Join the Griffin clan for another 16 freakin' funny episodes that'll keep you laughing long after the series gets cancelled again. Witness panicky Peter's first prostate exam; see lovable Lois jump into bed with Bill Clinton; watch miserable Meg get a crappy job at the local superstore; hear crazy Chris sing in a goth band; follow boozing Brian all the way to Iraq and back; and get a rare glimpse of smitten Stewie as he hooks up with a very young old flame. Sweet!
