This past Friday we
first let you know that Amazon had scored an exclusive DVD release deal with Fox Home Entertainment for
Family Guy - The Total World Domination Collection. This 22-disc set will include every
Family Guy DVD released (or announced for release) so far, including the
Family Guy Presents: Stewie Griffin special release, the
Family Guy Blue Harvest disc that came out at the beginning of this year, and all the contents of the
Family Guy - Volume 6 DVD release coming out on this October 21st.
In fact, Fox and Amazon have now confirmed what we essentially said last time: that this will be identical in content to the new, revised
Family Guy - Freakin' Sweet Party Pack that is also coming out on October 21st...just without the ping-pong and poker-related gaming items. But all the disc content is the same, right down to the
American Dad bonus DVD (see our previous report for full details). And, of course, it's all enclosed in the REALLY cool-looking "Stewie head" packaging, which again is only available exclusively via Amazon.
We've also been informed by Fox and Amazon that this release will be available on
October 21st, the same street date as the other releases this fall. Amazon will update their listing to show that date before too long. But you can place your pre-orders right away, of course, using the button link below!
