The Facts of Life - Shout! Takes the Good, and There Ya' Have...Season 4 on DVD!

Long-awaited 4 disc set is coming out, along with the 'Paris' telefilm, this May

Posted by David Lambert
After a 2006 DVD release of The Facts of Life - The Complete 1st and 2nd Seasons and then a quick follow up (the same year) for The Facts of Life - The Complete 3rd Season, no more has been heard from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment about season sets of this popular show. But today we were informed by our retail sources that Shout! Factory has picked up the rights to continue releasing Mrs. Garrett, Blair, Tootie, Natalie and Jo on DVD: we have confirmed with Shout! that The Facts of Life - Season 4 is coming from them on May 4th!

The new 4-disc set includes the 2-hour TV Movie "The Facts of Life Goes to Paris," which aired just days before NBC began broadcasting the fourth season. Besides that, there were 23 regular-season episodes, including the double-length season finale "Graduation." Guest cast includes Geri Jewell, Crispin Glover, Jimmy Baio, David Ackroyd, Gary Hudson and Eve Plumb (of The Brady Bunch, as Blair's sister Meg). Pricing, package art and any other details haven't been made available just yet, but stay tuned and we'll keep you informed as further developments occur!
