Exosquad - 1st Season of the '93 USA Network Animated Series Announced for DVD

2-disc set with the first 13 episodes coming in mid-April

Posted by David Lambert
It was a golden age for all mankind. Using the incredible exoskeletons called E-frames, we had successfully terraformed Venus and Mars, and were now poised to move on to the Outer Planets. Suddenly, it all ended. We were pressed into a nightmarish war on a scale previously unimagined. We were attacked by our own creations, the Neosapiens, a race of artificially created humans. Led by Phaeton, they had seized control of Venus, Earth, and Mars. This is Lt. J.T. Marsh, member of the Exofleet, leader of a small band of E-frame pilots dedicated to freeing humanity from Neosapien rule. We are...the Exosquad.
Universal Studios Home Entertainment has informed retailers that Exosquad - Season 1, the first of two seasons from the animated USA Network series that debuted in 1993, will be coming home on DVD this April 14th. Previously released among several VHS tapes, this collects the first 13 episodes together in one package for the first time.

The 2-disc set will cost $19.98 SRP. Episodes will be presented in full frame video, with English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo audio and English subtitles. Voice cast includes Robby Benson (One on One, Ode to Billy Joe) as Exosquad's Leader Lt. J.T. Marsh, Gary Chalk (Beast Wars: Transformers, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe {2002}), Lisa Ann Beley (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe {2002}) and Michael Benyaer (The Path to 9/11, ReBoot).

Package art isn't available yet, but stay tuned and we'll bring it to you!
