This past Monday we
reported that Spelling Entertainment and CBS/Paramount were (finally!) releasing
Dynasty - The 6th Season, Volume 1 on DVD this
July 3rd, and on the same day would be releasing
Dynasty - The 6th Season, Volume 2 as well. Fans have been asking about pricing, and now we know from Amazon's pre-order listing (see button link below) that these 4-disc sets will cost $36.99 SRP each, but you can lock in your copies at a discount if you order now.
Other fans have asked "what about a 'complete'
6th Season set?" Well, the studio isn't putting out a single-package release with all 8 DVDs, but they will be making a "combo pack" available on the same date with both titles shrink-wrapped together for $79.99 SRP (per Amazon's pre-order listing, also available via the button link below). Even with the discount, it doesn't look like bundling them is saving any money (which is why we normally don't post info about these shrink-wrap bundles, if the packaging and content is the same).
Our story yesterday was updated late in the day with early cover art for both these titles, but it was low-resolution and "flat." Now we have high-res 3D package art from the studio for these items, and you can see those below!
