We sense a theme here! We've gotten in pictures of the box for the
May 31st release of
The Dukes of Hazzard - The Complete 3rd Season (detailed in our
previous news story). Once more it is Bo, Luke, Daisy, and the General Lee...just like on the previous two season sets. Warner probably has a full gallery of different shots of the four "stars" of the show, but hopefully we see some of the rest of the cast featured on upcoming boxes.
Dave's Thoughts:
I'm wondering what will happen on the eventual fifth season box set, when Bo & Luke had been written out due to a financial dispute the actors had at the time with the studio, and replaced by cousins Coy & Vance. However, since Bo & Luke return for the last four episodes of that fifth season, replacing the never-to-be-seen-again cousins before the first fifteen minutes were up in the "Welcome Back Bo & Luke" story, it's possible we'll again see a cover with only Bo, Luke, Daisy, and the General Lee. It would be great to get Uncle Jesse, Boss Hogg, Rosco, Enos, Cletus, Cooter, and even the strumming hands of The Balladeer (Waylon Jennings) on the front covers of some of these season sets, though!
