August 14th they will release
Doctor Who - Story #051: Spearhead From Space: Special Edition, a 4-episode story running 97 minutes with various enhancements over the original 2001 DVD release...including optional English 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound. This 1970 production is the first story with Jon Pertwee as the 3rd Doctor, as well as Caroline John new companion Liz Shaw. The Nestene and the Autons are introduced, and Nicholas Courtney returns as UNIT's Brigadier Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart, becoming a show regular as of this installment.
On the same day the BBC releases the only unreleased-on-DVD story for Sylvester McCoy's 7th Doctor, when the 4-part 1988 production
Doctor Who - Story #155: The Greatest Show in the Galaxy arrives in stores. He's joined by Sophie Aldred as companion "Ace" in this 98-minute adventure which includes popular Irish character actor T.P. McKenna as "Captain Cook." We don't have package art for
