Although Shout! Factory hasn't formally announced it yet,
an Amazon pre-order listing shows that the VERY long-awaited (since 2006!) release of
Diff'rent Strokes - The Complete 3rd Season is finally on the way. Like spin-off show
Facts of Life, Shout! must have licensed this program from Sony after HUGE fan demand let them know there was enough interest in it. This first release from the Factory will be a 3-DVD set priced at $29.93 SRP, and it's expected to be in stores on
July 17th. The third season (out of eight total) included guest appearances by Janet Jackson, Meeno Peluce, Dody Goodman,
Facts of Life stars Lisa Whelchel and Mindy Cohn, Ed 'Too Tall' Jones, Rosalind Chao, Ernie Hudson, and Jack Knight.
