Designing Women - Shout! Finishes Decorating the Complete 2nd Season Packaging

22 original episodes on a 4-DVD Box Set! The staff of Sugarbaker and Associates return as the sizzle and shake of the south in Designing Women Season 2. Suzanne (Delta Burke), Julia (Dixie Carter), Mary Jo (Annie Potts) and Charlene (Jean Smart) put the sexy, strong, smart and sweet southern style into the Sugarbaker interior design firm. Anthony Bouvier (Meshach Taylor) continues on as series regular and part of the Sugerbaker team as the ex-con with a heart of gold turned male sounding board.

This second season also offers the delightful and now, regular, occurrence of the 'just a little off the beam,' feisty widow Bernice Clifton (Alice Ghostley). Guest stars include Gerald McRaney (who would later go on to wed Delta Burke in real life) Scott Bakula and Billy Baldwin. Created by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, Designing Women aired on CBS from 1986 - 1993 running seven seasons and achieved critical acclaim as one of the greatest groundbreaking series to ever hit the airwaves.

Last week we had the scoop that Designing Women - The Complete 2nd Season is on Shout! Factory's late summer schedule, with an August 11th release date for a 4-DVD set. Now we've got the scoop on package art, too, which you can see at the bottom. You'll get 22 episodes running approx. 480 minutes long, and presented in full frame video with English audio. The spine on the box art below shows a closed captioning logo, too. Shout! hasn't finalized the bonus material on this set, but is hoping to include audio commentary tracks from the show's creators.
