Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and the Peanuts gang have their hopes for the day - Charlie Brown, that he will receive a valentine; Linus, that he will be able to find a great Valentine gift for his favorite teacher, Miss Othmar; Lucy, that she will finally get Schroeder to notice her. Unfortunately, none of their plans work out.
Warner Bros has announced their first Peanuts DVD to come from their recent acquisition of the property, Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown Deluxe Edition. The newly remastered 2-disc set includes "Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown," plus:
- "Unlucky in Love: An Unrequited Love Story" (Documentary Featurette)
Through the eyes of the Peanuts characters, the unrequited sense of love will be revealed, only to manifest that at the end the message is something universal, something to which we can all relate.

The set features Full Frame (1.33:1) video, and English mono audio. Suggested retail price will be $19.98 when it's released on January 15, 2008.
