As you know by now, on this summer the folks at Time Life are releasing a 22-DVD set of The Carol Burnett Show - The Ultimate Collection, with 50 episodes from middle and later seasons in the show's 11-year run. Originally planned for July 30th, the title has now been pushed back a week, and is planned to begin shipping on August 6th. And then on August 28th, eOne and Legendary Entertainment are putting out Carol Burnett - The Prime Time Specials Collection. So what's on tap for the holidays?
Today we've learned that eOne and Legendary Entertainment are teaming up again late this year, for a November 6th release of A Carol Burnett Christmas: Special Collectors Edition. Pricing and complete details aren't available yet, but there is an early look at possible cover art (shown at the very bottom; may not be finalized and could be subject to change) which tells us that this item has "4 Hilarious, Classic Christmas Episodes Starring Carol Burnett." That's a good start, and we'll have more for you as further developments occur.
