Animation author/historian Jerry Beck will once again appear live on "
Stu's Show," hosted by Stu Shostak, the signature talk program on Shokus Internet Radio (
www.shokusradio.com) on Wednesday, August 10, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. PT (7:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET). Jerry is a regular contributor to the show, which features interviews with media celebrities both in front of and behind the camera, and is in its fifth season broadcasting on the Internet.
Topics for discussion will be the highly anticipated arrival of both
Tom & Jerry and
Looney Tunes cartoons on Blu-ray, as well as other DVD releases that feature
Casper the Friendly Ghost, Road Runner, and
Herman & Katnip cartoon sets. In addition, Jerry will offer his reviews of current feature films including "
Winnie the Pooh," "
Cars 2," and "
The Smurfs," and both he and Stu will offer their opinions on Cartoon Network's new "
Looney Tunes" series, as well as Seth MacFarlane's upcoming "
Flintstones" series for Fox.
