Wow, somethings things just rush and get by us. We get a neat e-mail from a reader, and we've got all kinds of other stuff going on, and we put that bit o' news on the back burner intending to get back to it in a day or two, and before you know it a week's gone by. Or maybe a few weeks, even. But (geez we can be pathetic from time to time)...a month and a half?
Back in early March, one of our readers sent us an e-mail. Andrew Kaplan gave us the heads-up (thank you sir, and apologies for not getting to this sooner!) that ABC's official blog for
Brothers and Sisters had
posted an entry talking about the then-fresh Paley Festival. In it, there was a bit of neat info about the team preparing for the upcoming DVD. We meant to pass it along right away...but it got by us, frankly. Sorry!!! Here's what was said:
...we got a memo from Sparky last week about DVD crews being on set to shoot b-roll for our Season One DVD Bonus feature. They’ll be shooting interviews with some cast members and producers. Maybe they’ll come up to the 4th floor and show us in all our glory, eating butt muffins (as Cliff Olin calls them) and champagne and caviar. Maybe we’ll even add a hidden segment for all you Bloggers and Sisters fans starring Dave the PA. That would be hilarious.
Again, sorry for taking so long to relay the info, but it looks like they're getting extras together for the first season set. Stay tuned for the official announcement about that release, just as soon as it's available.
