Last week we
broke the news that
My Boys - The Complete 1st Season would be delayed from the planned release date of March 11th. Sony told us at the time that a new date had not been finalized, despite
Amazon's pre-order listing saying "September 2nd" at the time Since then, that date has been removed from Amazon, and it currently says, "
The release date for this DVD has not been finalized. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives."
Today we are pleased to bring you the new release date, and to let you know that you don't have to wait as long as September. A note we received from Sony's marketing/PR people says that the new release date is
June 24th. Hopefully that date is solid this time, but we'll keep an eye on it of course. We also hope that this means we'll see the broadcast debut of the second season on TBS around that time!
