Yesterday Paramount Home Entertainment
announced that
Beverly Hills, 90210 - The 3rd Season is coming to DVD on
December 11th, with an almost-23-hour set that features all 29 episodes from the show's third year. That count includes the double-length season finale, "Commencement," which is one of the most-loved episodes of the show.
Thanks to our contacts in the industry, we here at TVShowsOnDVD have managed to exclusively get ahold of our first look at the extras and other specs for this highly anticipated release. We've learned that it will be an 8-disc collection, and we've also found out that the soundtrack will be limited to English, but that Spanish subtitles will be included on the episodes. Mainly, though, we were given this list of special features:
- "7 Minutes in Heaven" featurette
- "The World According to Nat" featurette
- "Everything You Need to Know about Beverly Hills 90210 Season 3"
- Episode Guide (menu-based stills)
Our friends in the biz were also able to give us this first look at the front cover art for the set. It's a medium-resolution shot that is still subject to change, but this certainly looks like it's in line with the style of the first two season sets. Enjoy!
