As you know,
the 3rd Season of Ben 10 comes to DVD in early March (and the recent live-action movie version of the show, including Lee Majors as Grandpa, is right behind it with
an April DVD release). And now Warner Home Video is following up by prepping an announcement for the
May 6th release of the next DVD for the hot Cartoon Network show!
But instead of jumping into the fourth season, Warner and CN have decided to bring out a single-disc release of
Ben 10 - Secret of the Omnitrix, a telefilm which aired this past August, between episodes from the fourth season. The Omnitrix, as any ten year old boy can tell you, is the alien watch-like device Ben wears that allows him to change into one of ten alien heroes.
This 66-minute release is timed to come out near the debut of the 5th season of the show, which is going to premiere in the Spring with 26 episodes under the name
Ben 10: Alien Force. Extras for this DVD, if any, weren't mentioned and neither is the pricing. Stay tuned for that info, plus cover art, when Warner makes this announcement official.
