Thor hitting cinemas this May (among the several Marvel movies that are leading up to the 2012 feature film version of
The Avengers), it's no surprise that Marvel and Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment want to bring the currently-aired cartoon series home on DVD. So today Marvel/Disney announced the
April 26th releases of two single-disc titles that will cost $19.99 SRP each:
The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes - Volume 1 (154 minutes) and
The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes - Volume 2 (135 minutes). Both can be pre-ordered from Amazon.com at a discount using the provided links. No further details are available so far, nor has the studio provided the package art yet. Stay tuned, though, and we'll keep you updated.
