Early this month we
had the scoop about how
Airwolf - Season 4, the final season of the show, coming to DVD. We had early cover art at the time (seen again below), but we didn't have a release date...just word that it would be available in the first quarter of the new year. Today Universal Studios Home Entertainment formally announced the title, revealing a street date of
February 1st.
You'll get a 5-DVD set of the show, which had been recast with Barry Van Dyke (
Diagnosis: Murder), Michele Scarabelli (TV's
Alien Nation), Geraint Wyn Davies (
24, Forever Knight), Anthony Sherwood (
Street Legal) and - in a recurring role - William B. Davis ("The Cigarette-Smoking Man" on
The X-Files). Video is full-frame, audio is English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo, and English subtitles are included. Running 1121 minutes long, the cost is $39.98 SRP.
