Since the release of the 4th Season set this past March, fans of
7th Heaven have been waiting and wondering when (or if) they would get the next season of the show on DVD. Wait and wonder no more! This morning CBS/Paramount has revealed that
7th Heaven - The 5th Season, is coming out just before the Christmas holidays:

This is a season that began with some big changes at the Camden house, and is approaching the "middle ground" of the show's 11-season run. The running time is 971 minutes for 22 episodes, including the 2-part season enders "Chances" and "Are". Stay tuned for further details, and for cover art.
UPDATE: We've gotten box art from the studio, and our retail contacts confirm for us that this is a 6-DVD package featuring the fifth season's 22 episodes, and there are no expectations for bonus material.
