Mortal Kombat: Conquest - 'The Complete Series' of the '98 Show is Announced for DVD!

All 22 episodes will be available in stores at the end of March

Posted by David Lambert
In a world scarred by destruction and violence, three fierce warriors face the wrath of an evil empire as they strive to protect the Earth Realm from the forces of darkness in "Mortal Kombat Conquest," a one-hour action/adventure series that debuted in national syndication the Fall of 1998.

In this prequel to the movies, Kung Lao has triumphed in the Mortal Kombat tournament, defeating Shang Tsung and saving Earth Realm. Now, he must train a new generation of warriors for the next tournament. Meanwhile, an exiled Shang Tsung attempts to thwart Lao's efforts with the aid of supernatural warriors such as Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
Warner Home Video has scheduled a March 31st release for Mortal Kombat: Conquest - The Complete Series, the 1998 show that lasted a single season of 22 episodes. This 4-disc set will cost $39.98 SRP, and you can pre-order it at a discount from Amazon using the button link below. Under that is an early look at the cover art (may not be final and could be subject to change). Our thanks to one of our readers, "Alex," for emailing us about this title.
